The results are in!
Hoover PD once again participated in The Wings of Hope Pediatric Foundation’s annual #NoShaveNovember challenge. This friendly competition among local agencies raise money and awareness for this wonderful organization. The final results were tallied and the beard awards were handed out. Here’s how your Hoover PD fared:

First place, total amount raised: $25,000
First place, best beard: Sgt. Mims
Runner up, best beard: Officer Deades
No Shave “spirit award”: Tammy Gilbert

We had a great time! Special thanks to beard judges Dollar Bill and JT, as well as our local law enforcement partners for participating:
Alabaster Police Department, Helena, Alabama Police Department, Montevallo Police Department, Pelham, Alabama Police Department, Shelby County Sheriff's Office, and University of Montevallo Police Department.
The total amount raised by all participating agencies was $46,305!
